He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin E. Cassidy and Harriet Freeland Cassidy; and his brother-in-law George Szilagyi. He is survived by: his siblings, Maryhelen Szilagyi of Bridgeport and Ed Cassidy of Alexandria; and his nephew David Szilagyi.
