Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Kalla (Miklos) and Marion Kalla; and her brother Alec Kalla. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth; her husband Richard Ungerer of Westport; her daughter Erika Grossman (Heather); and her brother Ronald Kalla.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Willowbrook Cemetery (395 Main St, Westport, CT 06880). A shiva was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at the Ungerer Residence - Westport (1141 Post Rd E, Westport, CT 06880).
