She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Earle Garlick Jr.; her sisters, Lilian Zorn and Arlene Carrico; her parents, Edward C Stowell and Etola Sandiford Stowell; and her nephews, David Zorn and Pete Zorn.
She is survived by: her cousin George Stowell (Barbara) of Easton, CT; and her son Edward E Garlick III (Bonnie) of Milford, CT. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many beloved nephews and nieces.
