He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasios Recachinas and Ekaterini Arvanitis Recachinas; his brothers-in-law, Apostolos Nedas of Greece and Evangelos Espanopoulos; his uncle James; and his aunt Antigone Recachinas.
He is survived by: his wife Eleftheria Bakiris Recachinas; his children, Tassos Recachinas, Katerina Pergola (Daniel) and Emmanuel Recachinas (Paige); his grandsons, Christopher, James and Nicholas; his siblings, Dion Recachina (Laura), Andrew Recachinas (Sophie), Sophia Espanopoulos and Christina Plotas; and his sister-in-law Haido Neda of Greece. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his beloved Holy Trinity Church in memory of Rev. Demetrios A. Recachinas.
