Though Barbara Boothby may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Boothby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard P. Boothby and Pauline Jameson Boothby; and her brother Richard P Boothby Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Frank Wendt; her niece Barbara Boothby Perry; her nephews, Richard P. Boothby III, James C. Boothby and David C. Boothby; and her godson Weems Estelle (Ted).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Southport Congregational Church (524 Pequot Ave, Southport, CT 06890).
