He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Joseph and Jennie Barreca (Cannici). He is survived by: his children, Alice Dixon (Bruce Dixon), Christopher Barreca (Mona Heinze-Barreca) and Jennifer Culpepper; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Dixon, Brittany Culpepper, Christopher Culpepper, Alicia Barreca and Manal Barreca. He is also survived by his extended family, friends.
