With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Loomis (Westbrook, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Loomis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Edna (Holmes) and Rodney Lyman Loomis Sr.; her brothers, Rodney L. Loomis Jr. and Milford H. Loomis Sr.; her sister-in-law Gwendolyn Loomis (Deabler); her brother Donald M. Loomis; her sister-in-law Ruth Loomis (Harrison); and her niece Robin G. Loomis.
She is survived by: her nephew Milford Loomis Jr. (Bud); her nieces, Laurie Crain (David) of St. James, MO and Ellen Weinbaum (Marty) of St. James; her great-nieces, Katharine Loomis, Jessica Loomis, Julie Carlson (Mike), Mary Ruth Waggoner (Jake), Julie Weinbaum, Dawn Weinbaum and Emily Weinbaum; her great-nephew Andrew Crain (Ashley); and also Coraline Crain. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Wildlife Federation, or to First Church of Christ Congregational of West Hartford.
