She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cosgrove and Mary Cosgrove (Gibbons); her husband Gilbert F. Cooley; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn and James Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Noreen Dunlevy of Middletown, CT, Patricia Hyzer of Corbett, OR, William Cooley of East Hartford, CT, Colleen Slayton of Monterey, CA, Kathleen Taylor of Westbrook, CT and Erin Shepard of Blandford, MA.; and her sister Kathleen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
