He was predeceased by: his sister MaryAnn Biekert. He is survived by: his wife Flora; his children, Dan Jr, Missy and Marianne (Poppy); his granddaughter Abigail Placencia; his great grandchildren, Joseph and Noah; and his sister Rosemary Bombard (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
