She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred C. Sheldon and Gertrude Sheldon (MacFarland); her husband Richard T. Phelon; her daughter Peggy Ann Wright; her sisters, Alice Loomis and Mary Letty Haas; her son-in-law Roderick Wright; her siblings-in-law, Paul Haas and Peggy Sheldon; and her friend Estelle MacMillan.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marge; her granddaughter Kathy; her children, Richard A. Phelon of Biloxi, MS. and Eleanor "Ellie" James of Camarillo, CA.; her brother Robert Sheldon of West Suffield; her grandchildren, Steven Phelon (Sandy), Kathleen Brooks (Alan), Zachary Phelon, Robin Bucki (Fran) and Donald Wright (Janet); and her great grandchildren, Megan, Patrick, Jenna, Virginia and Katie.
