It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Hartwell Nilson of West Suffield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Garfield Hartwell; and her husband Douglas Nilson. She is survived by: her father Paul Hartwell; her daughter Emily Nilson of Washington, D. C.; her brother Stephen Hartwell; and her boyfriend Marc Corallo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (443 East Street N, Suffield, CT 06078). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Christ (81 High St, Suffield, CT 06078).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association, Boston Children's Hospital Trust, or Suffield Community Aid – all of which have provided care and support for our family over the years.
