He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Sotis; his grandparents, Eleanor and Adam Sotis; his great-grandparents, Rose and William Flamig; his grandparents, Alice Cattanach and Frederick Garrett; and his great-grandparents, Agnes and Alfred Faleni.

He is survived by: his mother Patricia Sotis of West Simsbury; his aunt Linda Dudley; his cousins, Neils, Nevin, Nord, Noel and Noris Christensen of Simsbury; and his friend Katherine Brown of Simsbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA.
