He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly DeSmith; and his sons, Steven and Thomas DeSmith. He is survived by: his sons, David DeSmith of Natick, Massachusetts, Gary DeSmith of Rochester and Matthew DeSmith of Torrington, Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Casey, Kirin, Kylene, Red, Marcel and Remi DeSmith.
