Richard S. Gallagher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Gallagher of West Simsbury, Connecticut, born in Johnson City, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Gallagher and Mary Gallagher (Novis); and his brother Daniel Gallagher. He is survived by: his son Kevin; his wife Mary Lou Gallagher (Rupp) of West Simsbury; his grandchildren, Connor and Ryan Gallagher; his daughters, Marilu Gallagher Rivera of Katy, TX and Eileen Gallagher (Hendrik Rosenthal) of Hong Kong; his brother Dr. James D. Gallagher (Marge) of Clarks Summit, PA; his sister-in-law Mary Anne Gallagher of Johnson City, NY; and his extended family, Joseph, Diny Rupp, Richard Breen U. S. Army (Retired) and Lorraine Breen U. S. Army (Retired) of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
