He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William F. O'Meara and Marguerite O'Meara (Foster) of West Hartford, CT.; and his brothers, John O'Meara and Dr. Bill O'Meara. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" O'Meara (Dodd); his sister Margot Egan (O'Meara) of West Hartford, CT.; his sons, James O'Meara (Kathleen) and Meara of Scituate, MA; his grandchildren, Christopher, Conor and Jack; his son Peter O'Meara (Heather); his grandchildren, Ann, Caroline and Sean; his daughter Susi O'Meara of Wynnewood, PA; his grandson Owen; and his daughter Rhys.
