She was predeceased by: her husband Henry L. Tietjen; her parents, Robert Haupt and Emily Jabs Haupt; and her brothers, Richard Haupt (Janet Gluz), Eric Haupt and Rev. Robert Haupt.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Berning (Donald) of Indiana and Scott Tietjen of West Haven; her grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Brandon) and Eric Berning (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Henry Johnson, Jacob and Elizabeth Berning.
