She was predeceased by: her parents, George Keyes and Mary Gilmartin Keyes; her son Joseph A. DeChello; and her siblings, Gertrude Mohn, Rose Micucci, Margaret Amendola, Sara Keyes, George, David, Thomas, James and John "Ted" Keyes, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband John DeChello; her children, John DeChello (Gina Funaro) of Hamden, Mary Aveni (Anthony) of North Branford and Jennifer DeChello (Paul Panamarenko) of Hamden; her grandson Patrick Aveni (Mirljinda); her children, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Kevin and Kacey DeChello; the mother of her children Nancy DeChello; her sisters, Kathleen Traub and Ruth Gindhart; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Keyes and Elizabeth Keyes.
