It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Zyde of West Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Roger Zyde; her parents, Louis Apuzzo, Sr. and Anna Apuzzo (DePino); her daughter Marisa Matrisciano; and her siblings, Louis Apuzzo, Jr. and Anna Manganella.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robyn Staurovsky (Stephen), Patty Gallipoli (Gary) and Barbie Chase (David); her grandchildren, Stephen Staurovsky (Crystal), Nicholas Staurovsky, David Matrisciano (Elissa), John Matrisciano (Madison), Jennifer Kelleher, Jacob Kelleher and Troy Gallipoli; her great grandchildren, Logan and Amelea Staurovsky; her son-in-law David Matrisciano; and her siblings, Martha Uhlan, Josephine Cebula, Andrew Apuzzo (Jean) and Barbara McCarthy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
