We bid farewell to Lois M. Chapman (West Haven, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Lois touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Smith and Nora A. Smith (Melanson); her husband Seymour; and her brothers, Ronald, Robert and Harry Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Butler (Donna), Brian Butler, Cheryl LaLiberty and Harry Chapman (Judy); her grandchildren, Emma, Abby, David, Jill, Nick, Melissa and Tina; and her sisters, Shirley Butler (Robert) and Joan Saccu. She is also survived by four Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windham County Humane Society, 916 W River Road, Brattleboro, VT 05301, a cause that was close to Lois's heart.
