She was predeceased by: her parent Harold D. Post, Sr.; her children-in-law, James Wieler, Vaughn Hatt and Mary Jane McGaffin; and her brother Harold Post Jr..
She is survived by: her parent Gertrude Post (Bassett); and her children, Joyce Gagnon (Allan) of West Haven, William Jr. (Lila) of West Haven, George Sr. (Irene) of West Haven, Elizabeth Wieler of West Haven, Richard (Janet) of West Haven, David (Barbara), Mary Hatt of Hamden, James (Rebecca) of Poole, Barbara Krupinski (Anthony) of Yalee, FL and Margaret Neff (John) of Concord, NH.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
