He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic DeRosa and Lorretta Bialczyk DeRosa; and his brothers, Michael, Stephen and Christopher DeRosa.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Kalakay DeRosa; his sons, Dominic and Nicholas DeRosa of West Haven; and his siblings, Elaine Young, Lisa Ianello of Guilford and Robert DeRosa of Milford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
