With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dario Aponte (West Haven, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dario left this world on July 12, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Sgt. Scott Aponte; his siblings, Ricky, Michael and Angel Aponte; and his parents, Miguel Aponte and Fredesvinda Aponte.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Mendygral Aponte of New Haven; and his children, Brenda Paturzo (Robert), Donna Marotti (Gerry), Darrin Aponte (Elizabeth), Marcia Figueroa (Michael), Denise Dow (Chuck), Michael Aponte (Katherine) and Melisa Kimball (Lemuel). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
