She was predeceased by: her father Glenn Alkire; and her uncle Victor Sanchez. She is survived by: her son Josiah Alkire of West Haven; and her siblings, Samuel Alkire, Rachel Tessier, Sarah Alkire of New Haven, Caleb Alkire of Japan and Barnaby Alkire of West Haven. She is also survived by five nephews and three nieces.
