He was predeceased by: his parents, Luís Roberto Guaman and Rosa Maria Calle Valdez. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Elizabeth Herrera Castillo; and his siblings, Walter Benicio Guaman and Nora Beatriz Guaman Calle of Canar. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
