He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chikla and Margaret Beckert Chikla; his sister Joanne Hayes; and his brother-in-law David Carter. He is survived by: his sisters, Ellen Carter of West Haven and Pamela Chikla of West Haven; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Carter, David Carter, Beckie Hayes and Wendy Parente.
