It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William M. Hartigan Sr. (West Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances J Hartigan. He is survived by: his children, Joan Hartigan (Larry Griffin) of Newington, William Hartigan Jr. of Newington and Jennifer Battaglia (Steve Battaglia) of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Ashley Corino (Jim Corino) of New Jersey, Amanda Brown of California, Brendan Hartigan (Andrew Autunno) of West Hartford, Brittany Battaglia of North Carolina and Michael Battaglia of Pennsylvania; and his great grandchildren, James and Madison Corino of New Jersey.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Molloy Funeral Home (906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Mark the Evangelist Church (467 Quaker Ln S, West Hartford, CT 06110).

Bill served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict era and the family asks that donations to the VA or another Veterans organization be made in lieu of flowers.
