He was predeceased by: his parents, Biren Sinha Roy and Nilima Sinha Roy; and his brother Tarun Sinha Roy. He is survived by: his wife Gail Roy; his children, Meera Roy, Robie Roy and Monica Roy; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Dhillon, Evan and Kyra; and his children-in-law, Robin Datta and Jennifer Roy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
