He is survived by: his sister Naomi L. Alpert; his husband Stewart Alpert of Hartford; his brother Jonathan E. Lubin (Elizabeth) of Sarasota, FL; his nieces, Dori Gatter and Robin L. Gatter; and also Neale Belgrade (James Whitney) of Waterford.
