With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Kenneth Hanks of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Fort Gaines, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doretha Wood Hanks and Stephen A. Hanks, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Marshareen Harris; his cousins, Shirley Ward, Linda Woods, Sylvania Woods Jr., Alfred Woods, Ronnie Woods, Deborah Woods, Dr. Pamela Mitchell, Greta West, Andrew Woods and Sebrena Woods; and his friends, Josh, Joe Nelson, Herbert Perryman, Ayisha Miller and Hugh Freeney.
