McGown (West Hartford, Connecticut), born in Freeburg, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her son Jeffrey; and her brothers, Norman Nold and Sam Nold. She is survived by: her parents, Cornelius Nold and Teresa Nold (Vaulkamp); her spouse Donald R. McGown; her children, Michael D. McGown (Karen) of East Norwalk and Sharon Palma (Oliver); her grandchildren, Justin McGown and Kali McGown; and also, Lee and Sheffield.

The family requests that any donations be made to Fairview Hospital, where her care during her very brief stay was the best it could possibly be in care of BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South Street Great Barrington MA 01230.
