He was predeceased by: his son David. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Donald, John (Adriana) and Diane (Ross); his husband Michael; and his grandchildren, Angela, Isabel, Maximus and Reilly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.
