He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Callahan and Katherine Callahan (Zahronsky). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Clark of Avon; his children, Robert Callahan III, Jeffrey Callahan and Kathleen Callahan; his stepdaughter Melissa Clark; and his siblings, Peter Callahan, Christopher Callahan, Katherine Callahan (Jonathan Blancaflor) of Haddam, Ruth Pitts (Timothy) of Nantucket, MA and Marie Callahan (Barry Baker) of West Hartford. He is also survived by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
