He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Moffitt and Florence Moffitt (Newton); and his brothers, Ed Elston, John Elston, Charles Moffitt and Walter Moffitt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moffitt (Demicco); his children, Steven (Andrea Turner), Erica (Derek Dilks) and Andrea West Hartford (Alfred Vichot); his grandchildren, William, Samantha, Henry Dilks (Camp Hill), Hayden, Grayson, Caroline Moffitt (New York) and Nora Vichot (West Hartford); and his sisters, Hazel Burdick of Palm Bay, FL and Betty Oldham of Plainfield, CT.
