It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip S. Walker of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Dillon. He is survived by: his children, Phil, Jr. (Eileen) of Guilford, M'lou (Sam) of Pennington, Nell of West Hartford, Rosie (Joe) of Sarasota, FL, Peter (Georgina) of Scarsdale, NY and Sarah (Joe) of Stockbridge, MA; his grandchildren, Sarah and Jamie Walker; his children, Cos (Melinda), Daly (William), Caroline, Philip Arnett, Helen, Olivia LaPointe, Charlie, Henry Fioriglio, Jack Walker, James and Christian Tonetti; and his brothers, Paul (Susan) of Ponte Vedra, FL and Monsignor David Walker of Branford.
A wake was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parish Center of the Church of St. Peter Claver (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter Claver (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery (200 Whitman Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110).
