She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barbour and Vivian Barbour; her siblings, Wilma Lawrence, Robert and Richard Barbour; and her niece Kathy Saqer.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Sanko; her children, Richard Sanko of Newington, CT, David Sanko (Diane) of Windsor, CT, Anna Sanko (William Curry) of Rockville, CT, Marian Sanko of New London, CT, Patricia Lowry (Mark) of West Hartford, CT and Jeanne Loper (Bob) of Andersonville, SC.; her grandchildren, Kuhneena Shanahan (Scott) of Omaha, NE, Brian Lowry (Alyssa) of South Burlington, VT, Laura Lowry (Winston Surrey), DC of Washington, Eric Lowry (Bridget Harrop) of Providence, RI, Daniel Sanko (Bonnie Pepin) of New Britain, CT, Tracey Ferreira (Josh) of Somerset, MA, Sarah Kusinski (Jack) of Plantsville, CT and Dennis Loper (Kim Hill) of Bristol, CT; her great grandchildren, Triana Pytel and Tristan Shanahan of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Blake Lowry of South Burlington, VT, Carter Ferreira of Somerset, MA, Harper and Avery Kusinski of Plantsville, CT.; her sister-in-law Wanda Serafin of East Longmeadow, MA; and her nieces and nephews, Rob Serafin of Enfield, CT, Chuck Serafin of Southwick, MA, Paul Serafin (Kandy) of East Longmeadow, MA., Nancy Barbour (Houston), Cyndy Madera (Austin) and Rose Wilson of Flippin, AR..
