With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Faenza Hyland of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Hyland; her parents, Nicholas Faenza and Margaret Faenza (Mullarkey); her in-laws, Henry, Mollie Hyland, Denis, Ita Hyland, Peter Sexton, Danny Brennan of Ireland and William Hyland of Hartford; and her friend Maurice Fitzgerald of West Hartford.
She is survived by: her sons, John Hyland (Kelley) of Niantic and Denis Hyland (Kerri) of Avon; her grandchildren, Henry Hyland of West Hartford, Samantha and Avery Hyland of Avon; her pets, LuLu and Sydney; her brothers, Angelo Faenza (Tani) of Old Lyme and John Faenza (Patricia) of New Britain; her sisters-in-law, Carol Hyland of Hartford, Ester Hyland of England, Mary Sexton, Kathleen Byrne (Brendan) and Clare Brennan of Ireland; and her close friend David Roy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
