She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Barrett; her parents, Winifred Downer and Roy Downer; and her brothers, Robert and Roy.
She is survived by: her children, John (Kathleen) of Hudson, Ohio, Susan and Andrew of West Hartford, CT; her granddaughter Sarah Costigan (William) of Sun Valley, ID; her children, Meagan Hughes (Steve), Charlotte Vernia of Berea, OH and Rocco Vernia of Cleveland, OH; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emma Costigan, Payden and Hailey Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
