It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Francesca Genovese Lenares of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Santina Amenta (Eduardo), Vincenzo Genovese (Lucia) and Pasqualino Genovese (Rosetta); her godson Edward Amenta; and her parents, Lucia Mozzicato and Carmelo Genovese.
She is survived by: her husband Salvatore P. Lenares; her children, Jo Ann Devine of Hartford, Paul Lenares (Benae) of Manchester and Peter Lenares of Millsboro, DE.; and her grandchildren, Alison Devine Baldwin (Paul) of Savanah, GA., Patrick Devine of New Britain, Vincent Lenares and Massimo Lenares of Manchester. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
