It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret (Peggy) Dimmitt of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Bewick and Eleanor Bewick (Cline); her husband Robert K. Dimmitt; and her brothers, Dr. John Bewick and Douglas Bewick.
She is survived by: her children, E. Anne Hayes (Randall) of West Hartford, Robert Bewick Dimmitt (Elizabeth) of Parrish, FL and William Frederick Dimmitt of San Antonio, Texas.; her grandchildren, Deirdre Dimmitt Wittkamper (Myles) of Parrish, Matthew Dimmitt of Parrish, FL, Christopher Hayes of Hartford, Brooke Hayes of West Hartford, Hannah Dimmitt of New Orleans, LA and Sarah Dimmitt of Hoboken, NJ.; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Hudson Wittkamper of Parrish, FL.; her sister Ann Fullerton Butler of Jacksonville, FL; and her sister-in-law Bunny Bewick of Longmeadow, MA.. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
