It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Serrano of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel C. Serrano and Emilia Serrano; and his sister Clarice Beato. He is survived by: his wife Maria of Lourdes Serrano; his sons, Luis M. Serrano of West Hartford, John Serrano (Nancy Smeeth) of Wethersfield and Gabriel R. Serrano of West Hartford; his grandsons, Andrew Serrano (Colette Serrano) of Madison, Benjamin Serrano (Julianne Serrano) of Rocky Hill and Julian Serrano of Wethersfield; his great grandchildren, Mariel Marie Serrano and Audrey Lourdes Serrano of Madison; his siblings, Jose Serrano, Zulmira Santos and Joseph Luiz of Wethersfield; and also Luisa Monteiro of Wallingford.
