He is survived by: his children, Gail Gavalis (Jerry) of Gastonia, NC, Laura Hungerford of Norwich, CT, Joyce Halkin (Kenneth) of Kingston, NH, Karen Bemis (Mark) of San Antonio, TX, Nancy Jensen (Kristian) of Rye, NH, Holly Martino (Stephen) of Plainville, CT, James Hungerford (Susan) of West Hartford and Andrea Jednorowicz (Joseph) of West Hartford; and his grandchildren, Garrett Gavalis, Travis Gavalis, Thomas Halkin, Katharine Asay, Jennifer Stevens, Heather Bemis, Kelly Jensen, Susan Jensen, Alyssa Murphy, Carly DeBarba, Stephanie Wachtelhausen, Cierra Muchin, Andrew Hungerford and Amanda Hungerford.
