It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Mecartney of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Wickes Marshall and Irving Marshall of Auburn, NY.; her husband Malcom Mecartney; and her son Harry Mecartney. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Marshall of West Hartford; her children, David L. Mecartney of Scottsdale, AZ and Bonnie L. Bassette (Roy D. Bassette III) of West Hartford; and her grandchildren, Emily Mecartney of Chicago, IL, Alex Mecartney of Chicago, IL., Kelly Mecartney of Brookfield, CT, Daniel Mecartney of Brookfield, CT, Dune Mecartney of Jackson, WY, Monica Bassette of West Hartford, Reid Bassette (Jacy E. Bassette) and Christian Bassette of West Hartford.
