He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Verrengia and Mary Verrengia (Casale); his son-in-law Michael Foto; and his siblings, Sylvia Standow, Pasquale, Lorenzo Verrengia and Jean Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen (Graf); his children, Laura Verrengia Foto of Simsbury, Audrey Kozma (Joseph Kozma) of Newington, Joseph Verrengia (Maria) of West Hartford and Michael Verrengia of Wethersfield; his grandchildren, Steven, Gregory, Thomas Kozma, Kelsey and Carley Verrengia Foto; his stepgrandchildren, Salvatore, Amalia and Paulo (Monika Calafiore); his stepchildren, Sofia and Sebastian; his siblings, Louise LaPenna, Lorraine Verrengia and Harold Verrengia; his sisters-in-law, Isabelle Verrengia and Catherine Gunn; and also, James LePenna and David Murray.
