He is survived by: his children, Joseph Butcher Jr (Elizabeth) of Enfield, CT and Apryl Lockhart (Laun) of Enfield, CT; his grandchildren, Michael Butcher, Ryan Butcher and Paige Lockhart; and his sister Diana Germ (Butcher) of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
