He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Chester Kean and Teresa Whitney Kean; his wife Lucille; his children, Thomas (Lisa), Lisa Bannon (Robert) and John (Jay); his grandchildren, Todd Kean (JoJo), Margaret Kean Morrison (Finn), Eleanor Kean, Quinn Bannon (Lauren), Shane Bannon (Lauren), Madison, Shelby Bannon, John and Eileen Kean; his great grandchildren, Cece Kean and Natalie Bannon; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Vincent and Maurice DeMontigny. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Connecticut Public Broadcasting.
