He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Mario DeMaio and Mary DeMaio; and his siblings, Robert DeMaio and Patricia Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Sarah A. DeMaio; and his children, Lisa (Doug Trepp), Laura (Joe Essa), John (Lisa DeMaio), Michael (Maria DeMaio), Marie (Scott Mansolillo) and Leslie (John Costello). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Francis Foundation or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
