He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Morais. He is survived by: his spouse Ria Morais (Tarigan); his mother Aldina Morais (Reis); his children, James D. Morais and Sabrina A. Morais; and his siblings, Jorge, Dinarte Morais, Teresa Braga and Maria Crockett. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
