He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Egan (Godfrey) of West Hartford; his close friends, Nancy and Mike Daly; his cousins, John and Jim Concannon; his daughter Cathy Mieczkowski (Jim); his grandchildren, Maggie of West Hartford, John Patrick Egan, Jr. of West Hartford and Bernadette Foley (Brian); his great grandchildren, Maeve of Wethersfield and Julie Briere; his sister Mary Glynn of County Galway; his godsons, Michael Egan and Mark Archambault; his cousin England; and also, Sheridan, Delaney, Burke of Ireland, Betsy Egan (Tom Feerick), John Kilkenny, Máire and Tadhg of Ireland. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
