We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2020, at the age of 88, Joan E. Baird of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John William Baird; her daughters, Ellen Carol Baird and Victoria Ann Baird; her sister Doris Montner; and her stepsister Barbara Gelman.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Richard Duhaime of Port St; her son John William Baird II of Honolulu, Hawaii; her grandchildren, Pamela Ellen of Brooklyn, NY, Patrick Joseph "PJ" Fitzgerald and Paul John Fitzgerald of Queens, NY; her great grandchildren, James Baird Hill and Jack Forbes Hill; and her nieces, Janice Asherman (Montner), Sue Byrne (Montner) and Debra Krefsky (Gelman).
Joan Evelyn (Lipton) Baird, 88, of West Hartford, widow of John William Baird, died peacefully of COVID19 on June 12, 2020 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London.
