He is survived by: his father Donald D'Amato of Uncasville, CT; his children, Kathleen D'Amato of Vernon, CT and Robert D'Amato of Colorado; his siblings, April D'Amato of Uncasville, CT, Marji Matson of Bantam, CT, Michele Knudson of Northport, FL, Randy D'Amato (Robin) of Wallingford, CT and Michael Lentoski (JoAnne) of Macungie, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Elesha D'Amato and Logan Solomon.
